What size tweeter for your na door pad

Hi guys,
try to replace the tweeter on my door pad as right one was broken and don't know what size to get. I know for the door speaker its usually a 6.5 but not sure standard factory tweeter size and how everyone use to mount their aftermarket tweeter.

Tried search function and couldn't find any info on this topic.

Are you referring specifically to tweeters or to the speakers lower down in the door?
You can fit some 6.5" drivers lower down in the door but may need to make adapters or spacers like I had to.
You probably can't go much bigger than a small magnet 6" though if you want to keep the factory cloth grille (on an NA8).

I have the same door card as yours. I was referring to the tweeters. You one looks aftermarket. What brand and size did you use and how did you mount it on the door card. Thanks

They look like Morel 2 ways, which would be a 32mm tweeter I think. 1, 1/4" in old school.

Yes, just $200 Morel cheapies, enough to keep my wife happy. I had no tweeters in the door from factory (1994 NA8, Aussie delivered) so had to make the holes (holesaw).
There was bugger all depth there and I had to butcher the back of the tweeter mounting cups to allow them to fit.
The cups are held in just with epoxy glue (Araldite etc).

I threw some of these into my car a few weeks ago.

The tweeters are about 2" around, but they are supplied with a set of mounting cups that have four different mounting options. I hid mine behind the factory supplied grills, but they can also be mounted flush, or through the door card.

Have you progressed on your purchasing and installation?

Hey mate really nice was it hard to do on the nb? if possible to have a look next time in garage cafe? i will be there?
I have been spending to much money the lens lately.
