Gauge relocation and additions

Re Mickey Mouse ears: Hahaha, NOW I know what you mean when you mentioned them to me. The ones that I have seen are a much neater, more integrated design. I think the whole gauge hood is made bigger so the part where the gauges go doesn't need to spur out at such an sharp tangent.
I've seen a single gauge holder integrated into the steering-wheel shroud for an FD RX-7 that is uber neat, but if' it's made for the MX-5 it will restrict view to the warning lights.

I haven't yet settled on the gauge configuartion, but I'm going off the idea of replacing/relocating the Oil Pressure with current thinking of a Boost-OilTemp-Air/Fuel mix combo. I'm making enquiries to see if I can have the all the gauges customised a la Artworks/DEWA style.

NOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo - Stick with the dummy-oil pressure gauge -> boost gauge mod, it's the best place for it (other than the A-pillar) and it's not difficult to do at all. You won't like the boost gauge down that low on the centre console, it's too hard to see quickly.

As I mentioned earlier, for those important gauges you have to mount down low, purchase gauges that have peak recall options, and try and get them in the same series to give them a uniform look.
