If you remove ("pull back") the carpeting behind the driver's rear right shoulder, you should see that there is a gap between the metal plates of the parcel shelf and side of the chassis. I passed the wires through that gap, no drilling required.
ie. My wiring runs along the centre tunnel, through the carpeting hole for the boot and fuel-cap release, and diagonally up and across to behind the driver's right shoulder and through the gap below the parcel shelf.
If you remove the plastic carpet fasteners on the parcel shelf behind the driver you should be able to peel the carpet back enough to see the gap I'm talking about.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for that, I'll give it a go this afternoon. Hopefully this can all be finished soon, just want my car back in one piece! Driving without a centre console is suprisingly annoying, not to mention I forgot to take out the window switches so I can't wind the windows down!

Same hole also exists on the passenger side.

Thanks for the replies, I was able to find that hole you were talking about. I started getting too into it however and pulled up half the carpets on the shelf as well, too enthusiastic I guess! :p
