Air Con for (personal imported) NB

Hello gang.

I've just moved to Oz from the UK with my late mother's NB MX5 - a 2001 1.6 'Isola'. It doesn't have air con and I know I really need to get it fitted. So, can anyone recommend where I could get it fitted at all please? I'm based in Newcastle but travel to Sydney a bit. I'm also planning a holiday around Victoria so could the work done whilst I'm there.

Hi Glen, good to see some more poke on here, not sure about retrofitting air con I always assumed it was very difficult and expensive. Just wondering also how did you get on with importing the car from blighty? I'm looking at bringing one over soon and the whole process looks very difficult indeed . Do you have any pointers? Enjoy your stay

give mx5 mania a ring - link at the bottom of this forum.
make sure you get there & back via the old pacific hwy with the top down.

Hi Locutus - I will definitely get in touch with MX5 mania. I've never been down the Old Pacific Highway so will definitely give that a whirl. Roof down of course.
