anyone have any info about it? ive had a look on the digital radio plus site and does'nt say much there.

im mainly interested in the 24/7 dance chanel that will be running. Woo!

anyone know of headunits available? im looking at upgrading soon

All I know about it is that both Pioneer and Kenwood are now releasing head units with digital radios for cars.

Don't you have to pay a montly subscription to get digital radio?

That's how it is in the US, but they say it's really good as there is so much great content available and it's ad free.

naa the US have digital radio and thats free. its Sattelite radio that you have to pay for

Yeah... The US had Digital radio when I was there in 06, its pretty cool. Very clear sound, and the song info comes up on the head unit in your car (artist, song, album etc). I looked into it for the MX5 when I got back to Aus, but there was no such thing here.

If I listen to FM radio on my mobile phone, some of the stations also give out information about the song etc while it plays, and this shows up on the screen as I'm listening.

I wish all radios had that feature, as it's very handy knowing what song is playing and often by the time the DJ is announcing it, you aren't listening anymore, if they actually tell you who the song was by in the first place.

Radio Metro 105.7 here on the Gold Coast is 24 hour dance.........

And its available online at radiometro.com.au

A couple of forumites listen in already.
