Sick of the hand helds.
Just bought a Uniden UH500SX-RM
5watts Power!!!
Remote Mike/speaker which has full controls built in.
Main unit mounted in boot - Magnetic aerial lays down on parcel shelf when not in use, sticks to Torque Box when required.
Full function hand set including on /off, channels etc.
Much betterer.

awesome setup, I like the controls built into the mic/speaker.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

UHF Fitted
I have an Uniden UHF CB from a few years ago that I sometimes think about fitting to the car. Only problem is that it is just a remote face style, so I would still have to mount the faceplate somewhere to use it

I've got an old uniden CB unit too, used to have it in the zook for when we went off road, kinda fell out of use as most people are using UHF now.
