Meter fuse blowing

Postby Gazbo » Tue Jan 22, 2008 4:42 pm

My meter fuse has blown twice in the past six months.

Might be just bad luck, I can't see any reason for it to blow (it's 10A), just the tacho, fuel/oil/temp gauges, indicators, charge lamp and brake fail lamp run off it.

Anyone else had fuses blow regularly?

(I have a Rhino immobiliser connected that flashes the indicators... anything after-market would be first suspect...)

Check wiring to the immobilser or any other in car add-ons would be the first place to start.

I'd check the wiring on that immobiliser, and perhaps anything that's on that circuit. There could be a short somewhere.
