Hi admin people,
I'm trying to change my email address as the old one will shortly no longer be supported.
The new email is a xxx@gmail.com address which the board won't allow, something about too much spam...
Sorry but that's the new address, so what can I do?

Re: Email change
Is it xxx? or is that just an example. You could sell that email addy.
I've never used/received an email from here so I probably wouldn't bother changing it.

Re: Email change
Yeah Nevyn, you do not have that selected in your preferences, I just checked.
IF, repeat IF you want people to be able to contact you by email (using the contact box on your post for example), you need to activate that in your preferences. If and when you do that, let me or one of the other mods know and we will notify Okibi who has to make a manual adjustment for it to work (best done by using the 'report' button). Otherwise may as well let the old one gather dust.
Of course, you could forgo g**gle scanning all your emails for its AI model input and use some other email provider, thereby avoiding this problem too (I think) .

Re: Email change
Activate what in my preferences?
As far as I can see emails are enabled...
Anyway need the email registered for notifications and account recovery, etc.

That's interesting, I accessed your board preferences earlier, but now can't seem to find it.
Click on your user name in TRH corner, it will open a screen at the 'overview tab.
Click on board preferences. On the screen that opens, using the radio buttons, select 'yes' to the top two. Then click submit.
Confirm here or by pm to me and I will notify Okibi to complete change.
