great pics - and Im not joking. I think the iphone has actually added to your adventure
let me rephrase slightly, the pics are not great in the overall scheme of all things photography, but I think what you have is really well suited to the story you told
great stuff. Sounds like a fun trip

Such an awesome part of the world for driving. After looking at your pics Nath I'm feeling the need for another road trip.

I stayed in Jindabyne at the Quality Horizons Resort. I lastminute.com'd it and got a very good rate - full studio apartment, undercover parking, full breakfast.

Thinking same same Garry. Driving around the South Coast barely satiates my appetite after driving through the Alpine Run last year.

It reminds me of the days of no radar , blasting down to the snow fields in a Golf, taking on the occasional slow Porsche. I am in for a midweek (avoid the police to certain degree) trip thru the snowys. Diving deep into the corner and up on three wheel straighten across some railway tracks then a hard right . That bit of the highway is gone now..

There's only a handful of roads down there, but they're all brilliant. However, the route doesn't make much sense as listed in the first post. For example, Tumut to Yarrangobilly passes by Talbingo, so why does Talbingo appear between Tooma and Jagumba?
