And on to Mt Baw Baw if you like or turn off and head for Warrugal

Yeah I agree, this is a trip we do often. Sometimes go the other direction turning off the Princes Hwy at Longwarry Nth, then take the Jindivick turn off, coming into Neerim Sth, then take the turn off to Powelltown (just before Neerim Junction) when at Yarra Junction continue to Warburton and Reefton, then the Reefton Spur and onto Marysville for lunch, then continue to the Maroondah Hwy through Narbethong and the lovely Black Spur to Healesville then home. This is a great 1/2 day trip and takes about a week to get the grin off my face.
