is this the road that ends up at O'Reilly's?
If so then agree with TCR. MINX, Elgin and I went up at night several years ago and it was awful. Looks good on google maps, but the corners are uber tight and slow (1st gear) and the surface is like 20 ton giants jog on it daily wearing soccer cleats.

theres also beechmont road coming from nerang side just make sure you turn around at the roundabout,
if you continue on towards canungra the road is dodgy
people always stick to the middle of it because it isnt lined for a large portion of it.
