I recently did the O'Reilly's run in a Datsun 1600SSS [genuine article NOT a mock up!]

The road wasn't THAT bad .. come to think of it, by 'recent' i mean 1982!!! I vowed NEVER to go on that road again!! :twisted:

Doesn't seem to be another road back, so unless you guys want to go back on the same road we come down on, it's a no go.

There's not, but it's a fun drive. Went up there last month, got stuck behind a fourbie who forgot his fuel cap. Diesel all over the road. Tried to get his attention but he either didn't see me, or ignored me assuming I just wanted to get past him. The drive back down was more fun than the drive up.

Edit: Regarding returning from O'reilly, not Murwullimba, my mistake.
