I remember the GOR from a couple of years ago; had to give it a go while we were down there for the MGCC National Meeting. The only drawback was the little 50 zones, which can be expensive if you don't notice them (just ask my brother). Fantastic piece of road though.

Did this last November. Great drive, sun was shining, no school holidays, roof down and the there were the caravans, road works and rubber neckers. Still even when we had to stop to a crawl we just enjoyed the experience and the view.
