Seriously, wiseman's is a brilliant road for any driving, but it should be done carefully! Lane markings or not, if you can't figure out where the road goes, you should slow down a little. Plus, night time is never a good time to be driving an unfamiliar road.

Mind you, there are several sections where moss is growing ON the road.. so extra care should be taken on the Wiseman's run.

The road is OK up to the ferry. Then there is no lane markings and it is foggy.

Exactly, 100% with you Jimi and sticking inside the lane markings is also important, but Im sure you already know that minix3.

I remember a few late nights heading up that way, including the time Roman took the fridge along there. I was on 60000km old tyres and took it very carefully  :?

Indeed, it can be tricky, but the plus side is you don't need lots of speed to enjoy a road like this. Here's some pics from a few years ago when i took my old club through there. From memory we came in via River Rd, there was another ferry on the other side (ie) not the main Wiseman's Ferry at Portland Head Park.

The run from Wisemans Ferry up towards the old pac along Wiseman's Ferry Rd is fantastic as well, takes you through this great photo spot:
