Dodgy is as Dodgy does - D. Bros Engine Cleaning & Recon

The Grandmaster of Rice is coming over tomorrow, and it's looking like I've sourced a motor from Richard - heading there tomorrow morning to check it out.

Not an invitation for a cast of thousands, as this is not an officially sanctioned Dodgy Day, and space will be limited in the garage, but if you're really keen to get the fingers dirty in Fairfield tomorrow, and possibly Sunday, send me a PM with your mobile number and I'll forward details/address etc.

We could certainly use a little bit of help.

Regardless, the old motor will be unbolted tomorrow.

I've really got to say I love this place - the level of support is tremendous - except for Freddo who's a callous ratbag.

I will be there in spirit only as I have an appointment with a 4M (that's not 4 Metres) boat and 6 cases of beer and champagne from Saturday morning till Sunday lunch.

I hadn't even thought of that.....not a bad thought actually - might have to check that tonight......

Know how to unlock it?

Although - I couldn't even turn the motor by hand, or by slipping it in gear and trying to roll it.

usually a whack with a hammer where the starter pinion housing is.......or failing that, pull the plugs & turn the engine backwards will do the trick.or failing all that, just pull the starter motor 8)
