Postby Charlie Brown » Tue Jan 30, 2007 8:23 am

For those who haven't been to the Club site to see what's going on in February, here's details of our next run. 8)

Frosty’s 2 Mounts and a Brewery Run (“The Brewery Run”)

WHEN: Sunday 18th February

WHERE: Heathcote McDonalds’s - north east corner of intersection of Princes Highway and Heathcote Rd, Heathcote.

TIME: 9:00 am for a 9:30 Start

DETAILS: The route will take us along the picturesque old Princes Hwy to Helensburgh, Lawrence Hargrave Drive to the Sea Cliff Bridge, then south through the northern Illawarra villages with a morning tea stop en route.
Then up to Mount Keira from the Wollongong side to the lookout, across the back of Mt Kembla and down through historic Mount Kembla village.
We will then head to Wollongong City Beach for lunch and a locally brewed ale at the Five Islands Brewery near WIN Stadium.

A big thanks to the Frosty's for organising a pleasant day out for everyone. It was nice to see a good turnout of cars too with the NC's fairly well represented for a change.
