Who's up for the dodgiest of dodgey days?

Okies... Ive taken a bit of inspiration from Uncle Arthur and his dodgey day ( http://www.aus-cartalk.com/viewtopic.ph ... le+arthurs ) and was wondering which of you dashing and handsome, oh so skilled gentleman would be intrested in tinkering with Mixxy... If I provide beer and BBQ ?

Theres a few things I would like to get done but - as we all know by now- Im completely clueless as to how to do them. Im happy to get my hands dirty - as long as its under adult supervision!

At the momment Im just throwing the line out there to see if any of you chivalrous fellows are intrested in partaking before I try to arrange dates or the like.

Things I would like to have a look at (suggestions are welcome):
*Finding out what timing Mixxy is at, and advancing it if applicible,
*Putting a hole in the firewall for air intake (if ya know what I mean)
*Taking out the orange indicator housings
*Doing something about the fact my headlights are very, very dim
*Checking my brakes and changing the pads if required

Im happy to fund these exercises of course... however, I will need either a VERY percise shopping list of what is required or someone to come with me and I will just flash the cash. I can not be trusted with the responsibility of buying all the right bits if left to my own devices !!!!

Judging by some of the posts on here Monsqueek you'll need to go Bourbon and Chicken Wings to entice lads from the Gold Coast Asylum out :P Shame you're not in Sydney as its getting close to warm enough for another Bigdog Dodgy Day - well maybe another month or so

It's definitely time for Beverly to fit another intake mod or two, and I'm thinking we need to get some colour change dye for Craig's Camel, and it is probably time for Agro to get another wax job  Maxwolfie is muttering about other cars so he's probably a no show (after most Friday nights he's a no show!) :P

Anyway, come on you Brissy Boys - help the lady out!

Did someone say Bourbon, Beer or Chicken Wings ?

I'm useless on the tools, but a wizard on the deep fryer or BBQ.

Bring on the BLINNNNNNNNNNG !

I have ONE GALLON of Franks hot sauce to coat some wingzzz with if anyone is keen ?

FYI Heineken 5 litre kegs are around $35 and work very well for the numbers you can expect at a dodgy day ! 4-5 Kilos of wings would also suffice :)

Cheers

I'll be in! I've got a timing belt and water pump to do, so does \"The Tooth\", Rogue's kicking around the notion of actually buying something to fix his car.

As long as there's wings, Wayne and Heineken I can be there. Hope you have a BIG garage Squeak!

PS: Your stuff is a walk in the park to do.

Jules

PSS: If it gets any bigger, we may have to shift to Mikey's Huge Undercover Emporium of Dodgy thanks Jen, I'll buy you some cheap jewellry to cover the inconvenience   :D :D :D
