The National Park is OK. A quite a few hairpins and 35 - 45km/h corners mixed with a few straights for about 25km. It is a little bumpy though.... however the best run is to continue on to Albion Park near Wollongong and drive the Macquarie Pass 8) 8) 8) 8)

This is a great bit of road, especially at 12:00am. It is short at 10km but the surface is perfect. There are about 50 corners which are mostly rated between 25-45 km/h with a couple of 15km/h corners. We did it four times tonight. Makes a nice 300km round trip. Time to go to bed.

It was just a spur on the moment thing. It was decided on sat PM to go. We left my place at 5 am....sorry Spranga

I'd prefer to organise an official run through the club.....maybe we can get our heads together & come up with a combined run with the Newcastle chapter. where we meet somewhere along the putty & then go on together to wollombi Pub or something.

Lithium....next time your'e in Sydney.....lets get together & come up with an Idea.
once we have that we can go through the official channels of the Club.

8) No worries mate. I can also admit to going for a few secret Putty runs this year... sometimes you just need to get in and drive! Anyway I was driving through Bowral at about 3:00am on Sunday morning so I would not have been a starter!

Do club runs start that early? :P

club runs usually start at around 9-10 AM. In the past I did manage to start at 8.30 on the putty run & Bathurst run
