FS (VIC) Custom ITB Inlet Manifold for 1.8L
Posted: Tue Jan 25, 2022 6:13 pm
Mazda MX-5 NB Individual Throttle Body (ITB) Inlet Manifold to suit Toyota 4AGE Throttles
Essential Info...
Fits all 1.8L BP engines (as far as I know - mine are fitted to a BP-Z3).
Item Condition: Brand New.
Located in Traralgon.
Delivery available at your cost, or pick-up from Traralgon, Vic.
I have two of these available.
Price $500.
Custom made to suit the 43mm throttle bodies from the Silvertop 4AGE Toyota 20-valve engine. The 4AGE throttles are ideal for the NB MX-5 engines, all BP variants (as far as I know). This manifold has holes in the top and bottom of each runner, to allow for flexibility in routing the vacuum fittings and lines to your ECU. The holes are drilled (not tapped), but I can tap these to your desired specification (BSP or NPT).
I have a set of these ITBs on my race car using one of these exact manifolds, and I often receive comments about how damn good it sounds. It's true... It sounds damn good! I'm happy to share the complete recipe to help you get them fitted to your car: velocity stacks, throttle cable linkage, vacuum manifold, air filters, etc.
NOTE: The throttle bodies and trumpets are not included in this sale.
NOTE: This is not a T3 manifold. It was custom made for me using my own 3D model, so it's better. ;) The internal profile is much smoother than the T3 version. I developed my own drawing and got four sets made. One set is on my race car, one set has sold already, and I have two for sale.

Hit me up with a message if you would like more info.
PS. A quick comment on the price... At $500 I am still losing money on this whole design/procure venture. By ordering four of these the price per set came down a little compared to ordering one item, but I've spent nearly $3k to get these landed (ordered from 3D Hubs in Amsterdam, made in Taiwan). I could have ordered twenty sets and the price per set came down somewhat (not including shipping or import duty), but I wasn't prepared to sink so much cash into something that might take me five years to on-sell. I have two of these left, and that's it. There are literally only four of these on the planet. Get yours before they're gone!
