PSA - BMW front hub conversion for NA/NB

Time for a new thread, see http://mx5cartalk.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 57#p942574
There has been a lot of interest in the US by the track crowd in a better solution for the front hub problem (short bearing life, hub structural failures). We have the local Bosnjack solution and the Miatahubs solution, both big dollar items as they are fully original designs.
There also has been a bloke working on an adaptation of a BMW hub, and this has now reached the stage of a group buy. This uses a slightly modified replaceable BMW bearing, and is structurally stronger than the Mazda hub.
Development thread: https://www.miataturbo.net/showthread.php?p=1534810
Group buy thread: https://www.miataturbo.net/showthread.php?p=1534609
Note that this setup still requires some (as yet unspecified) machining of the Mazda ABS rings, which will probably have to be done here. Also note that the little Aussie bleeder is currently under USD$0.70 and that puts them at A$500 plus before freight.
Posting this for information, not to start a debate over whether these are needed or not.
