Hi all,

I'm in a spot of bother...
I am leaking ( or rather, my car is ) from this flange on the power steering pump. I think it is the return line or low pressure side.

I stupidly disconnected the lines when changing engines.
The fitting looks different to most others I have found online in that it only has one bolt to secure it. The little o ring is in place inside the pump, is there a special technique or anything to re-attaching this line ?
I don't know if I was dreaming or not, but was there a metal gasket that was supposed to between the two surfaces ?

As it turned out, it fixed itself!
I don’t know Wether the o-ring seated itself when the return line was pressurised or if it was the stop leak in the power steering fluid or just the demon that lives in the car playing games with me.

So I have a power steering return line flange coming from Japan in about 3 weeks, now not needed.
