Simple question;

Is it a little silly running 17x9+45 with 245/40R17 Tyres with fenders rolled and lowered on coilovers?

Friend told me I will ruin the dynamics of the ND and it will rub with that setup but some people in the US have no problem so I am conflicted.

Does friend have a ND to verify this???

Just keep in mind that not all 245 tyres are alike. Tyre sizing varies greatly between brands for the same size.

235/40/17 seems to be a popular size for NC's and ND's on 9 inch rims.
