Where to buy replacement bolt

I broke the bolt with holds the brake hose bracket to the front upper arm.. by accidentally over torqueing it. Anyway I'll have to get the threaded part extracted probably by taking it to a mechanic.

My Mazda dealer has found the part # however there is no stock at any dealer and it will be have to be ordered in from Japan (could take 2 weeks to 2 months apparently).

So are there any shops that I can get a non official replacement from?
I've tried Bunnings, Repco but nothing.

Try supercheap? They sually have a rack of bolts.

What is stamped on the head of the bolt? Is it a high tensile bolt?

Google to find 'engineering supplies' or 'engineering fasteners' in your area.
If the replacement bolt (actually a setscrew) doesn't have the integral flange under the head, buy a hi tensile washer to go under the normal hex head.

You can often get broken bolts to unscrew using a centre punch & hammer - sometimes quicker than an ezy-out

If you're in Brisbane try the Bolt King in Capalaba, never failed me once..and they usually have never charged me for one bolt too

If you have the part number from Mazda just put it into Amayamas website.
They do all Japanese genuine parts.
From experience it takes about 2 weeks to get them to your door and it will be cheaper than through Mazda directly.

Nothing stamped on the head so I assume its not high tensile.

No opening on the other side of the bolt so I can't try this.

Do it from the sheared off face side (assuming it's not buried deep below the surface).
Place the punch towards the outer edge, leaning at an angle, so that as it digs into the sheared face, it tries to rotate the bolt anti-clockwise.
