KU31 'Half price'

Postby captaincabinets » Thu Jun 23, 2016 12:22 am

Hi all

Not sure if this is handy for anyone. Apparently the following KU31 is half price at Jax at the moment:

Thanks

Thru normally go for less than $100 each, so I'm not sure where they got that rrp from.

A few years back the 195-50-15 was $99 each fitted.

I'm also pretty sure the KU31 is now discontinued, replaced by the KU33 or something.
So any 31 around are likely just clearing leftover stock. (Not that it's a bad thing, should be able to get a good deal)

If they are clearing old stock, be sure to check the dates on the tyres before you commit to buying them. This is probably more important if the car doesn't do a lot of k's and spends most of its life in the garage like our NB.
Chances are that the newest that you are going to see from Kumho may still be 2015, although I wouldn't be too happy about anything which would be any older than (say) July 2015.

Try Tempe tyres mate, they regularly seem to still be getting stock.

Last time I checked they had 205/45-16 @ $95 each fitted!

Thanks Pete. That's where we went. Ended up getting PS1s.

Maybe they just do 18s anymore.

Good news that they still do mx5 sizes though :)

Ku31 were discontinued about 2 years ago. Replaced with ku19's

PS1s? What's the build date on them? Must be 10 years old!
