Calling all Qlders - does anyone have a set of 15x9 6ul fitted with 205/50 or 225/50 tyres that I could test fit on my car?
I know 15x8 would be fine, but 15x9...

See Brians description for 15 x 9 with +35 offset.
Might need a little roll and stretch for these Hanson. They say they are the fastest wheels for the track though so maybe worth the effort.
Richard.
15×9 4×100
+35 offset
6kg
Flow Formed construction
73mm center bore
Clear coated finish
Cap included
Valves not included
Clears our BIG BRAKE KITS!
Fits 225/45, 225/50, 245/40, 245/50, 275/35 tyres. Always check clearance during install and after car is lowered to the ground, failure to do so can result in damage, death, tyres cut on guard lips, and other bad stuff!
Will NOT clear stock suspension, need coilovers with 2.5 inch diameter springs or narrower and expect may still rub at full lock (which is not a real issue since full lock is only possible at parking lot speeds), 3mm spacers can be added if you are running so much camber that you rub inside control arms, etc.
Takes optional 73/54mm hubcentric rings also available – Contact Us.
Tyre Size breakdown:
-195/50 and 205/50: not recommended
-225/45: Tyres fit NB guards with no mods needed if camber 1.5 negative or better, fits NA with slightly rolled guards and that negative camber
– 225/50: require rolling and pulling guards, removing liners on NA, NB only requires slight roll.
-235/50 Toyo R888: requires rolling and pulling on NA, roll only on NB, will rub top of tyre at full compression.
-275/35 require rolling and pulling, removing liners on NA, flat roll on NB. 20-30mm spacer recommended to fill aftermarket flares.
Intro to Flow Formed Production Technique in video below. Result is stronger and more dense final product with less weight than lesser casting methods.
Brian GoodwinBrian’s Application Notes: WOW, what a bargain, never dreamed we would get flow formed strength in this price range. The benefit is wheels that are BOTH stronger AND lighter! You can buy lots of regular cast wheels for this same price and more that are not near as strong.
Note we recommend our numerous upgraded lug choices with any of our new wheels. Unlike the short and fat stock lugs that will likely result in scratching new wheels, all our replacement lugs have the socket tool bottom on the lug rather than the wheel surface, and are longer for more engagement with stud surface so they also stay tighter.

Re: Test Fit 15x9 6ul - QLD - anyone local?
My current wheels were sold to me by a forum member as a set of 15x7. Two of them are! The other two are 6.5's. It bugs me, they are visually different and I don't want to mess with my set up when rotating from/rear.
205/50's work on them, but I can see they would work better on 8's, which are probably the most sensible choice given that 9's have so few tyre choices. There's not dealer I can find who sells a 245/40/15 for example, which really might make the 9's worth it.

15x10s on the new Maxxis VR-1 245/40/15s
Yeah, you'll have to import tyres, but you won't be wanting for grip!

I know - They look like they just bolt right on and not touch a thing. I think 15x10's would be fine if (a) I never drove it or (b) I was keen to start hammering and bending things

Give ausbuoy a hail, he definitely has a 15x9 set, not sure of the tyre spec.
