Greetings. Need your help please if you know your MX-5 suspensions.
Apart from adding my own NB8A top mount, will the following NA shocks fit my NB8A please?
Front: Bilstein F4-B46-1488-H1
Rear: Bilstein F4-B46-1489-H0
I have been offered a very good price for the set of four, but need to know 100% that they will fit my NB8A.

You won't be able to fit your NB top mounts to NA shocks as the thread on the NA shocks is too short to fit through to the nut. You'd also have to use NA springs on these as the base of the NA/NB springs are different shapes.

Thanks KevGoat.
Essentially then I would be wasting my money by the sounds of what you are saying?

These won't fit my NB8A but might be of interest to anyone with an NA.

They will fit your NB, but you would also need to use NA springs, and possibly NA top mounts/perches (I know 100% the NA lower perch differ from the NB, not sure about top)

FatCat uses extended nuts to fit the NB top hats to NA shocks as shown top left of following image from his site:
The nuts use to be available to purchase separately, not sure if they still are.

For all the fiddling around, there's better options ...
