I think my front wheel bearing is out, when I drive it sounds like i have a flat tyre the the noize happens at >50km/ph
the wheel is ballanced and the tyres are new.
I called BJ bearings in ferntree gully and they dont stock them anymore!
where else can i get some bearings for the front of my MX5?
Are both sides the same or is one for the drivers side front only and one for the passenger side only?

Quick check is to raise the wheel off the ground and give it a spin and a shake.
If it is stuffed you would need an ABS version

The OEM Mazda unit is expensive but many have not had good results from the aftermarket versions.

Hey Wun, there's a bearing place on Wellington Road just around the corner from yours. Turn left at the lights on Blackburn road onto Wellington Rd, and you'll see it on the left.
Otherwise, Bursons. Etc. It's just a bearing.

Re: wheel bearings where to buy?
I bought mine from Amazon (select retailers sell internationally). Good price and very reasonable postage costs. Arrived in 4 days.
