Got new shoes fitted on sat to my nc
Moved up to 215/45r17 from the stock 205 size.
I haven't done extensive testing yet, but I felt much more grip on the corners today going to the gym.
My old setup was michelin preceda 205/45
They were a really good a grippy ride too.
Probably got over 55k off them. Think I even did a few track days on them a few years back.
They were well and truly down to the wear line, but still seemed to be very good.
Before I got them, the stock tyres became rubbish towards their end of life, especially in the wet. However, the preceda were fantastic in all conditions.
The ride also feels much better, could be the wider tyres or just that everything is new and alignment is done right...
I just need to hit some windy roads to really give the a work out...
Now to save for suspension and braces etc
