Adjusting rear swaybar

I am wanting to adjust my rear swaybar to soften it, its currently on the middle setting. I cant see how I can move the adjustable arm that goes up to the swaybay as it pivets the wrong way on the lower end for the front to back movement I need where it connects to the swaybar.
Its a whiteline swaybar and should be adjustable as it has the holes there.

Also when the two bolts are taken out of the swaybar, should I be able to rotate it in the bushes as it does want to move, maybe I need new bushes?

Would appreciate some advice,

thanks Nicky

Just push harder, this is the only solution with stock sway links.

Sometimes the only way you can do it is by bending the end links. I use a good vice and a small sledge hammer. The links themselves are tough as.

Sorry to hi-jack thread, but I had an issue ages ago with my front whiteline sway bar, nothing I could do would get it into the hardest setting, only the middle one.

would this help?

yes as the rose joints allow more flexability with angles.
