Im looking to put an NB front subframe into my 5, I know that this is possible (lightyear has done it) my question is, will the NA6 steering rack bolt up with the later model subframe?

Pretty sure Lightyears's kept the front subframe as NA6 not NB.
I can confirm the rear NB one fits with no problem as that is what I have.

Direct swap... provided you use an NB steering rack.
An NA steering rack WILL NOT bolt to an NB subframe.
