I have tested Carbotech pads on my NC this year, Tested the XP8 compound at Queensland Raceway and found them not agressive enough for serious racing. Tested the XP10 Compound at Phillip Island and the brakes were very impressive. (Best Time 1.56) The discs show very little sign of wear if any. Next year wil test the XP12 compound which are even more aggressive at Wakefield.
Will be testing the 1521 Carbotech road compound on my Mazda 3 SP25, more interested in the fact that the brake dust is light grey and the Mags should not look dirty all the time.
It is weird after a race day to have clean rims.

Re: Carbotech Brake Pads Compounds
I'm a big fan of the 1521 on a street car. If you use XP10 pads on the street you won't have clean wheels for long, or rotors for that matter!!
I have a dual purpose car so I leave 1521s in the back and swap between 1521 and XP10 fronts on track days.
