Bilsteins on New Zealand NC

Postby Noddycar » Fri Nov 09, 2012 5:34 pm

Hi all

My mechanic has a New Zealand registered NC that he is readying for registration in Australia. Apparently it has Bilstein shocks (not sure if they are exactly the same shock as my NC, which also has Bilsteins). He contacted Mazda and gave them the part numbers off the shock and was advised parts could take a while.... Does anyone know if they are the same Bilsteins as fitted here? If so, can you suggest where they may find some, as apparently Pedders could not help them either. I wouldn't bother, but these guys are good mechanics and really look after us well.

Thanks!

The OEM Bilsteins on the NC are not a great shock, the normal shock does a better job particularly on the rear.
They will all be the same fit.
I'd suggest he use aftermarket shocks like the Tokico HTS from Shox.com as they are a perfect match for the OEM springs.
