Sorry if its been posted before, I seem to recall threads about NA/NB models but not NC.

Ill be using a set of R specs at the upcoming club track day in December.

All you NC owners, do you just drive to the track with the wheels on or do you fit them in the car somehow??

I drive down with them on.

I also take one, sometimes two of my road wheels sitting on the passenger seat as insurance against an R-spec blow out when the tread is getting low. To date this hasn't happened.

The only other way to get 4 track wheels to Wakefield or anywhere else, is by a trailer. See Paul for one as he has a few.

I think the best is to drive down with them on and bring 2 road tyres as emergency. Sometimes I've drĂven to the track with 2 road tyres and 2 r-specs fitted when I've had uneven wear. Either that or be(er)friend someone who takes there car down on a trailer!

I'm exactly 2 seconds behind his last wakie time. I was running with ku31's. Hopefully these v70's will knock some seconds off

And PEAT (monty5) now has V70a's, so there is going to be a bottleneck up the top end which is great. 8) Now the question is has Ralph got his new Yokies?

And Regie, yes the V70a's will be atleast 2 seconds faster than the 31's, just don't rip the guts out of them on your first run.

Ralph ran the new Yokohamas at ECN last weekend.
And I think after trying Chris's demo ECU, it was worth 2 seconds!!...PEAT will be looking at a flash.

FOLLOW THE SWINGING WATCH, AND REPEAT AFTER ME,
I need a trailer to transport my precious track tyres.
You know who to call, Paul.

Nothing has change from when some of us ran NB's before the NC came out.
0.01 seconds was bragging rights....and still is. :D :D

I love it, the growth in the number of people running NC models has been astounding. Greta rivalry!

I want to see you crack the 1:10 Phil!
