16x7 +25 - Will they rub?

I'm pretty well sold on a new set of wheels. They're 16x7+25. I'll have 205 tyres on them.
I have heard that some cars with 16x8s +20 with 205s rub, and since the tread width will be the same and in almost the same offset on mine, will they also rub? Or will the 5mm extra clearance in width be enough?
Am i best loading a heap of weight on the back of my car and checking clearance?
My NB is on Eibachs, so about 30mm lower than stock, and doesn't have rolled fenders.

Do the math on the difference of width between these and your current wheels. Thats easy.
Then load the car up and get the ruler out.

Dont forget that loading it will yeild more camber so dont forget to account for that.
Also, I just noticed I hit 5000 posts.

And all useful!
To the OP- there are wheel and tyre size calculators on the web. As Dann said, do the math and then take a ruler/measuring tape to your wheel arches.

Tyre section width = T
Tyre aspect/profile = A
Wheel Diameter = D
Wheel Width = W
Wheel Offset = O
Rolling diameter = (D*25.4)+((T*(A/100))*2)
Wheel inner barrel = ((W*25.4)/2)+O
Wheel Outer Barrel = ((W*25.4)/2)-O
If new wheel Inner barrel > OEM wheel, new wheel closer to guard liner/suspension
If new wheel Outer barrel > OEM wheel, new wheel closer to outer guard.

I know how to calculate the differences.
All will be the same as my current wheels, except they will have +15 more offset. I will load it up and measure the gaps, but there are the extra factors, like camber when loaded, as Dann stated.
Again, i was hoping someone had tried this combination that could comment, rather than 2 cents worth of 'shut up and do it yourself'.
No offence intended to any of you.

P.S. Is 5000 posts a proud moment, or do they become like birthdays?

You have 2 options:-
1. Await an answer from someone that has the wheels, suspension, suspension height, camber and toe settings, same psi in tyres as you to confirm physical fitment.
2. Take a tape measure out to your car and have a answer in 2 minutes.
p.s. Option 1 may take a while to get an answer. Kinda why I suggested option 2. No offense.

Someone on here will have experience with these far-from-uncommon factors.
Awaiting their feedback as my car is at home and i'm not.
"Same PSI"

Bit dangerous relying on someone saying 'yeah, they will fit' without doing your own calculations.
Tyres can stick out a bit more across brands due to softer sidewalls, low PSI, vehicle loading. So that few millimetres of clearance may evaporate.

16x7, +38 with 30mm rear spacers and 25mm front spacers. Effectively making +13 at the front and +8 rear.
Guards are not rolled. Lowered on King Springs on standard SE shocks. No scrubbing whatsoever.
Tyres are Hankook Ventus RS-2s in 205/45/R16.
And I'm going to sell this setup soon.
So to answer your question, should fit no probs

THANK YOU! Looks great! Probably even closer to what i'm after, but i want to avoid spacers.
Take note people. There's useful information out there.
