Any suggestions appreciated !
Advan RS 17x7.5 114.3 +48 offset..6.7kg ..........tyres? will 205/45 17 be too narrow? Looking at Bridgestone RE002. I gather from the Goodwin website that this offset will give me more clearance from the brake calipers?
Eibach pro-kit springs - standard shocks
Exhaust - Mx5 plus rear muffler
My purpose is to lower ride height and improve handling. (and look). Less roll going around corners but I want the car liveable. I have dríven a car with coilovers and I don't think they are for me.
The car is mainly used for short runs and touring, occasional track days in mind.
Thank you...
Chris

Re: NC2 upgrade Stage 1 - suggestions?
Hey chris!
I'm running 205/45 on a 17x7.5j +50 rays volk ce28. The rims clear my stock calipers fine. And I'd suggest 215/45 tyre option. Performance advantage/disadvantage unsure, but would look better as the 205s looks slightly stretched.
I use to have the eibach pro kit springs too! They are heaps comfortable, less roll too! Maybe look at buying the front and rear adjustable sway bars as a package
Cheers
Jimmy

if you are playing with tyre sizes. you could also try 215/40R17. will help with some more kick on accelleration due to slightly smaller rolling diameter.
also swaysbars and strutbraces for improved handling. these, like any suspension mod may add to noise, vibration and harshness.

RE002s ranked quite low in the latest tyre tests by MOTOR magazine. Suggest you have a look at the Michelin Sport or Dunlop Sport Maxx range.
