is it worth almost double the price compare with the Bilstein pss 9???

Probably NOT for an NA/B
But for an NC there is only a
$200 between the PSS10 and the Ohlin and the Ohlin is waaay lighter being an ally shock.

because what i can find is , 1.5k for pss9 from US and 2.5k for the the DFV
i do know DFV will be a much lighter shocks,
but is it worth it? performance wise?

To the OP:
Unless you are able to try similar models of MX5s each with either set then it's hard for anyone to convince you especially as it
depends on the purpose of your upgrade and intended use. My opinion is that I would choose the Ohlins every single time now that I have drĂven all three set ups on MX5s in street/Motorkhana/Autokhanas and Sprint situations.
Now back to my 'cave' so I can dream of a massive tax return to buy a set.

If you are looking at spending that much in the first place on the ohlins, you need to be looking at the 949 racing xida's also!
Go to miata.com and cehck out there forum. There are quite a few suspension reviews if you search for them.

I don't have the money to get either of those yet, but my aim is skip the middle range, those not so good coilover , and save more for a real all rounder( thats what I mean good), as a result these two are on the list, xida is heard many good things about them too, but don't know how it's to live wif everyday

This last part hints that you are using this as a daily driver. If this is the case, I would recommend Koni Yellow Sport Adjustable shocks with your choice of Kings or Eibach springs. You will need to be doing some serious circuit work before you reach the limits of the above package plus they are very compliant on a daily basis. With three spring perches on the body of each Koni shock and different spring heights available for the Kings, you do have some pre-purchase and installation choices. Mania also sell the Yellow Racing coilovers but I have not personally had them for a comparison to the Koni & Eibach/King combination. Best move is to chat with the local NSW club or forum members and get a passenger seat in similar MX5s that have these different set-ups.
Then if you have motorsport tendencies, get seat time at the track. Buy decent tyres, adjustable sway bars, end links, bushes, roll bar and a good alignment then seat time. A lot of seat time.

the koni and kings set up is what i'm currently using, and i already got roll bar, tires...etc just haven't do the sway bar part, haha
reason i want a all rounder coilover is last time i track my 5, it feel lag on changing direction, the shock seems cant react fast enough,
which encourage me to switch to coilover, i like the respond it gives me, on the other hand, i dun want/ i can't sacrifice a comfy ride,
hence i want a all rounder, bit of data digging, these two brand got the most positive feedback.
i know most coilover do well on the track, like the yellow speed you mention, but i'm not sure it will give me a good ride on daily driving too=]

Comfort/handling/price. Pick 2.
Now drop one and replace with price to get more of the remaining one.
This is about all
What im saying is you cant have great handling and a soft boatlike ride.
And if you just want faster direction changes, stiffen the shocks (not springs) and get swaybars, but swaybars come WAY before coilovers.

Yeah, I'm thinking you should be looking at sways before upgrading your already well-regarded spring/shock combo.

there are all sort of thickness regarding to roll bar,
which one should be pick? or base on what method to chose them?
