Not fitted them personally, but you can find stories of them breaking on other forums if the car is run really low because they hit on the chassis before the bump stops are reached. - http://forum.miata.net/vb/showthread.php?t=342639

In any case you can usually get 2-3 deg of neg camber anyway if the car is lower than standard, I am not sure why you would need more
