Standard NA6 rims with semi slicks

So...
I have a set of Yokie semi slicks that have about 70% tread left which will fit on my original NA6 wheels that I have....but the question is...is it worth using those rims and semi's at a race meet? reason being is my R888's on my 15's are just about gone - and how would the smaller tyres go performance wise? make me go slower? (I dont need that haha!)

maybe its worth selling them and putting the $$$ to a set for my 15's!

Cheers !

You could donate them to me... i will wash your car and mow your lawn

How much would you be after if you sold the tyres?
Not really what you asked, sorry, but i thought i might be first in with the question.

If you are not hitting the redline in 5th with the 15's the 14's will probaby be ok gearing wise and may even be faster!!

Of course only you can know what the performance (handling)of the tyres will do to your times.I would use them at least once and then make up your mind, probably more value in using than selling them.

good luck,

Peter.
