loud thunk while hard cornering

hi guys,
my car randomly makes a loud thunk noise while im cornering hard,
not sure what it is, but i only heard it since i lowered the car and got grippy achilles 123 tyres..
the car is an nb8a on koni yellows and lowered 30mm on eibach springs..
im pretty sure all other suspension parts are stock.

anyone know why?
the thunk noise isn't constant, just when the car feels like its going to lose grip, it'll thunk, so i slow down, then do it again, it'll thunk again..
hmmmm

thx,
Denis

I think your thunk may have something to do with whatever you did to lower the car. Check all suspension bolts, nuts etc. are correctly tightened and ensure your wheel nuts are correctly torqued. Look for places that the suspension or tyres may be catching now that it has been lowered.

^ what he said. If something happens after work is done to the car, nine times out of ten it is related to that work.

For the tenth time: while the car is on the hoist, and using the longest handled socket bar you can find (or a bloody big rattle gun  ), tighten the big nuts holding the 'K' frame (the front subframe). That fixed my thunk.

i'd start with swaybars and thing attached to the swaybars. i'm sure you'll find you answers there.
