I have heard that a few people import parts (suspension, intake etc) from Japan.
Does anyone have web site details? Thanks.

I know a lot of people buy from Yahoo Auction Japan. Though you need to know how to read Japanese.

Even when using the online translators like Bing and Google, it's difficult to follow properly.

Searching for wheels is quite easy.

For example, 4x100 15x8 +10 would translate to 4H PCD100 15x8JJ ET10. I understand some kanji as I'm Chinese so it makes a bit easier. An online translator would be your best option, if not ask Jesse Streeter for any enquiries.

I imported my suspension (Ohlins) through JDM Yard - easy to deal with, and the price they quote is inclusive of all taxes and duties and shipping direct to your door.

They were a forum sponsor at the time, not sure if they still are.

It's also worth chatting to forum member rupewrecht (http://jdmparts.rupewrecht.com/) as he trawls the Yahoo Japan auctions and brings in container loads of Mazda (and other) parts on a regular basis.
I haven't dealt with him myself, but do a search and you will find many happy customers.

+1 for Rupewrecht. Top guy and well worth the effort to troll Yahoo - you can find some really interesting stuff over there. You will pay for the privilege of course, as the Japanese are just as interested in JDM parts as we are, so prices are not cheap.

+2 for Jesse Streeter

http://www.jessestreeter.com/

he and his wife were kind enough to show us some cool things in Japan when I was over there.

He has a very professional setup and is an ex-pat Victorian who loves his cars but now lives in Japan full time.

I agree. I've ordered parts through Jesse and they arrived a few days later in the post.
