I'm currently swapping my old original springs with pedders lowered sport rider spring onto bilstein shocks with FMC bump stops should lower the car 40mm
The problem i have is identifying what ones go on the front or rear???
The bloke i bought them off identfied them buy labeling them with 'short' and 'long'. the long ones have 8 coils and the short ones have 9 coils... its strange as they're all the same height and thickness, the only difference is the amount of coils...
I'm thinking the short ones go on the front as the extra coil might mean its stiffer
Any help now would be great as i'm half way through pulling the old setup off, failing that i'll leave it for another time.
Cheers, Craig.
EDIT; Just found out that more spring coils closer together mean its softer not harder. So the long ones with less coils go on the front
