Hi i have a set of tein control master flex series coilovers with the edfc... I was running a set of gold series BC coilovers before and saw these for a good price so decided to upgrade. Or so i thought.
I have been told they have 7kg in the front and 6kg in the back but they seem really soft even with the dampeners set on hard.. So assuming there is nothing wrong with them which im pretty sure there isnt being able to tell the difference between soft and hard. they do disappoint me in being a bit floaty and feel unstable during changing direction in corners... I can only think of upgrading the springs to a 9kg and a 8kg.. The BCs never felt like this and they have simular springs etc
Any advice on this would be great or even someone with these and there advice
Cheers

Re: Tein flex control master coilovers advice???
The EDFC might not be working correctly... Take the EDFC motors off and adjust manually and see if that makes any difference. I've had the SS's and there is certainly a noticeable difference between full soft and full hard, so I would think that the Flex's would show a similar difference between settings.
Pain is temporary, quitting lasts forever.

I've been pretty happy with the stiffness of my stock springs on the monoflex... I've been told many times my car corners incredibly flat and that's with semi-slicks on the race track.... Are they a very light teal colour with winding master written on them?

The BC Racing BR series coilover springs are 8kg(front) and 6kg(rear) so you're now "a bit light" up front if your new fronts are 7kg.
Curious as to why you "upgraded" though, weren't you happy with your BC's? I upgraded from OEM SE Bilsteins and I love my BC BRs.

Re: Tein flex control master coilovers advice???
Thanks for your opinions guys. The reason I upgraded is due to the edfc controller being able to adjust dampness in the cabin (rather then having to unbolt the back gard in the boot take the spare wheel out then open the bonnet) also being able to have the presets for different driving. Seems I might be best off upgrading my springs because that's what it feels like. But where to start with trying to find the other springs? Cheers.

Re: Tein flex control master coilovers advice???
Tried a Tein seller he wanted to get king springs in the back which made me think right he doesn't know sh*t and havnt been back but don't know any decent sellers. Tried eBay aus, UK and us. Nothing tried searching and maybe a place in the us is all I've found. I'll have a look on the springs to see what numbers they have on them
