A mate of mine has some good commodore wheels that he no longer needs/wants they are Commodore 18 x 8.5", with 235/45 Tyers, will thses fit on to an NB at all? I'm not too concerned about the handling they will be for daily driving and I will chuck the stock's back on when I go out.

They are just too cheap to pass up (he'll give em to me for $50)
Will they fit?

No.

However the size isn't you problem, studs won't fit. You could probably find a way to cram 18x8.5 under the guards if you were really keen.

They wont fit because the commodores stud pattern is different to the MX-5.
