Bilstein PSS9 - Worth it on an SE

Hey guys

I have found plenty of info here on the Bilstein PSS9 coilovers, except for one thing.
Is it worth upgrading to them from stock SE Bilstein suspension, I can see the big adantage over normal MX-5 suspension but is there a noticeable difference on an SE?

I am buying a second car for work now that I have an 80km round trip each way, so the SE will no longer be the daily drive.

The car will be used for the odd trip to work to keep it running, club trackdays and a couple MX-5 events.

The bad thing is the car still has to use my driveway, so how high can these be set. Will pretty much want it no lower than 5mm from stock SE height front and back for road use, and will probably drop it for track use, since I change wheels and pads allready anyway. I already scrape my exhaust tip if I go on the wrong angle or have a passenger in the car on my terrible driveway.
Other option is I leave the car at my grandfathers place, where the driveway is no issue.

Just curious if they will be worth it since the exchange rate makes the PSS9's a really tempting buy at the moment.
Plus I see the advantage of keeping my OEM Bilsteins in good condition in storage if these ever die.

Also any recomendations for supply from the US, so far I've looked at Shox and some members here had good dealing with them.

I'm pretty sure that the PSS9s can solve your driveway problem if you don't mind setting the ride height every time you use it... I don't know how much effort/time that takes though.

Gorby and I are planning to get a set of coilovers each from shox.com in a month's time. It works out to be just under $2k AUD for the PSS9s shipped and taxed on the current exchange rate.

Re-setting the height can be done in your driveway, but I would expect that it will take around 15-30 minutes for each corner.

You wil have to remove the wheel, then undo the lock nut and then wind the adjustor, using a special tool, and measure everything to make sure your car won't look lopsided.

Not something you would do on a daily basis.
