Tyre pressure for sprint.

Postby sticky nicky » Sat Sep 25, 2010 2:13 am

Hi,

I am doing my first club sprint on monday and just wondered what pressure I should have in my road tyres at. (17x7inch) Any other advice for the sprint would be appreciated as well!

Thanks Nicky

Have a look at the MX-5 Club of Victoria website in the motorsport section. They have posted some excellent advice about do's and don'ts on your first trackday. I'd suggest you start at 36psi cold and adjust to around 40psi hot. Have fun!

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
