Annoying squeaks and creaks

I know this is not a unique problem, and I know this has (probably) been asked before around here, but I cannot find a fix.

My suspension makes alot of annoying squeaks and creaks when going over bumps and when breaking. Annoying and embarrassing.

These squeaks go away in the wet which hints at dry/unlubed bushings.

People have suggested silicon lube, WD40 but neither of these work.

I have not the time or money to replace the bushings.

Can anyone help!

have you changed your shocks recently?

there's a clear plastic film which sits between the chassis and the top hat. if that's missing, it'll definitely squeak.

I haven't changed them, but the old owner may have, they're super stiff so I'm not sure...

try taking some shots of your shocks...
