You definitely get what you pay for and as I mention in the post that I linked above, you should do bushes, end links, swaybars and a TB roll bar (or proper cage) to get it right and depending on your purpose.
Some of us have been playing with MX5 suspension for over two decades so why not make use of the knowledge and experience in the club as well? Come to a motorsport event (I happen to also be the motorsport manager) and you can see and feel all the different set ups that I recommend.
