MX5 Parts UK has the full 5 piece IL chassis brace set on special.
256 pound + ~100 delivery to Oz for Oz customers.
Pretty good deal if you're adding power to your NC though apparently there are minor clearance issues with the bypass fitting on the Cosworth SC clearing the front tower brace.

I'll let you get a set and then see if they make all that much difference.
I know that the Cosworth clearance issue won't effect me.

IL Chassis brace for NC
I got a set of these the last time mx5parts had them on sale
I was looking for a new front strut brace that allowed me to get to the adjusters on the coilovers, and with them being on special I decided to get the complete set.
After already having coilovers and swaybars I found these made a noticeable difference in chassis stiffness.
I do get gearbox whine amplified by the PPF brace, but that's only noticeable when the roof is up (which is rare) and otherwise gets drowned out by the exhaust and tyre hum (R-comps) anyway
I will let you know about the Cosworth compatibility soon...

Thanks for the heads up, Sailor. I just ordered a set. At the current exchange rate that's $609, including postage, which isn't too bad.Now to do the sway bars and get some Teins., Im sick and tired of getting sea-sick in it when it wallows around corners like a barge in a swell.
