Clubman Bilsteins, how low can you go?

I grabbed a set of Bilsteins recently and have thrown them on the car today. From what I can see so far, the car is lowered about maybe half an inch to an inch from stock. Ideally I'd like the top of the tyre at the lip of the guard. I have fatcat bump stops on them, and am running NA strut tops. In peering under the car I seem to have very little suspension travel, maybe an inch and a half before I hit the bumpstops.
I know that I could get NB tops, but I'm not sure if this will give me enough (only half an inch correct?). Is there any way to get these lower, or should I have gone with coilovers to begin with? I did want to run around on these for a while and then get them revalved for higher spring rates, but the lack of suspension travel is alarming!
