Yellow, Red, Green STUFF ETC Brake Pads

I have looked at brake pads to replace mine which are wearing out but I am confused.
There are so many variants on the market ranging from $30 to many hundreds of dollars.
Is there any way of working out the type of pads you can purchase and the type of applications they should be used for.
I do know my NA8 takes DB1282 & DB1283 pads.

Any input would be handy.

Im using the EBC redstuff pads good for the track takes a little while to warm up first but after that it bites really well.

stock oem is still be best for every day driving less dust no noize easy on rotors works well cold etc etc...
every ounce counts
